Module Database, UK seriesUK series: Personal notes Ok, I claim an intrest at this point. I liked most of the UK series, I think it tried to do something different with the ad&d idea. I also think there were dark plans afoot to ensure it would never catch on. So bare with me if I get a little carried away.
UK1: Beyond the Crystal Cave Setting: AD&D 1st Edition Characters: ? of levels 4-7 Personal notes Quite simply stunning in concept. A module where you can not kill anything and the main monster is a demi god who attacks you by making you drunk. This has a great story about love lost lovers and mixes in the concept of the faire lands. Itís a great adventure for those that got tired of bashing all day long. Full of RP encounters and a real joy to play. Value to modern players Well it still has a place in my collection , itís a bit twee in places and the none aggression angle can wind up players who love to bash things. Worth a play if you have empathy with the story line.
